GothGirl signed up to play volleyball at a local gym and today was her first practice. She was a little nervous beforehand because 1) she wasn’t sure if she would know anyone on the team other than one person, and 2) she’s never played in an actual volleyball league before (though she did take a volleyball camp at school for a few weeks last year). Practice went great. It turns out that 3 of the girls on her team go to her school. The coach worked them pretty hard, which is a good thing since there are only 2 practices before they start actual games.
I took quite a few photos of practice, but this one was my favorite action shot of GothGirl. She is normally not very coordinated (I can say that because she takes after me), but she did really well. I look forward to seeing how she improves in the next few weeks.
