Day 16

GothGirl went in the bathroom last night to apply her nightly skin care system (Proactiv) and came out looking like this.  It’s the first time I’ve seen her with the beauty mask and I felt like it warranted a photo.  I grabbed my camera and asked her to smile.  She said, “Mom, I can’t….the mask won’t let me.”  So, though she looks a little glum, I love that it captured a moment of her pre-teen years.

My hubby Crockett wanted to be in a photo as well.  He and GothGirl are really close.  I love that she was able to work up a slight smile (despite the mask) for her beloved daddy.
